Brown Mackie College – Northern Kentucky Hosts October 15 Blood Drive
(FORT MITCHELL, KY – April 3, 2013) Brown Mackie College – Northern Kentucky (“Brown Mackie College”) is hosting a community blood drive on Tuesday, October 15, from 9 am – 3 pm at its Fort Mitchell location. The Hoxworth Blood Mobile will be on site for blood donations from the community. Brown Mackie College – Northern Kentucky is located at located at 309 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati (UC), is the only blood center for the greater Cincinnati area. Serving a 17-county area in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Hoxworth collects, tests, processes and distributes blood and blood components to 31 hospitals and medical centers.
Hoxworth needs to collect blood from 350 volunteer blood donors and 40 volunteer platelet donors each day meet the needs of tri-state patients.
