Brown Mackie College – Louisville helps kids in need celebrate Halloween

(Louisville, November 2015)  The Student Occupational Therapy Association at Brown Mackie College – Louisville held a candy drive for Halloween, gathering 50 pounds of candy that was donated to help children with Home of the Innocents celebrate Halloween.

Home of the Innocents, is a private, non-profit agency that has been in operation for 135 years and served over 6,000 children and their families last year. The Home provides services to assist those who are facing severe crisis, including residential and community-based services to children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected; a home away from home environment for medically fragile children; and in-home and in-school support services are provided for children with autism and other behavioral issues.
