Brown Mackie College-Phoenix OTA Faculty Member Publishes Article
Article appears in the May 2016 edition of ADVANCE for Occupational Therapy Practitioners
Quenton McCallister, a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) faculty member, has an article published in the ADVANCE for Occupational Therapists Practitioners magazine. Published in the May 2016 copy, Quenton discusses the four pillars of hand therapy – edema management, scar tissue management, range of motion, and strength, and how Occupational Therapists lead the way in this rehabilitation specialty.
Hired in June 2015 as part-time faculty, Quenton has since been promoted to full-time faculty in and strives to be an active member of the Occupational Therapy community, both nationally and locally. Serving as Chair to the Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy, Quenton attends many conferences to hone his craft while also having numerous articles published on varying OT practices for others to enjoy and learn from.
