Coursework in this program will include the structure and function of the human body; routine procedures for a physical examination, which include taking vital signs, using instruments and equipment, taking measurements, and recording medical histories; automated scheduling and billing procedures, as well as fundamental accounting, office management, and correspondence. Here is a sampling of some of the courses you will take:

The Medical Assistant program will prepare you for entry-level employment in a clinical and/or administrative medical setting.
