(Miami, FL – February 24, 2009) Brown Mackie College – Miami has begun offering a new Associate of Science degree program in Healthcare Administration. The program, which was introduced in response to the increasing demands of the healthcare industry, will prepare students to understand and carry out the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the healthcare industry.

While studying healthcare administration, students will have the opportunity to learn how various healthcare systems operate, as well as multiple aspects of the field. At the same time, students will receive hands-on training in the administrative facets of healthcare services for the general public. Graduates of this program will be prepared to pursue entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, healthcare insurance offices, home healthcare agencies, public health settings and other healthcare-related organizations.
