Brown Mackie College — Miami is a branch campus of Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati. In 2003, the parent company of Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati was acquired by Pittsburgh-based Education Management Corporation (EDMC). EDMC, which has been in business for more than 40 years, is one of the largest providers of private post-secondary education in North America with an enrollment exceeding 58,000 students at 67 locations in the United States and Canada.
Brown Mackie College - Miami occupies 50,000 square feet of space at One Herald Plaza in Miami. Here, students have access to the technology, tools, and facilities needed to pursue their education. Medical labs, lecture rooms, administrative offices, and a student lounge provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge, interact with faculty and staff, and build friendships.
Brown Mackie College — Miami facilities provide media presentation rooms for special instructional needs, a library with instructional resources and academic support for both faculty and students, and industry experienced faculty who are committed to the academic and technical preparation of their students. The library has more than 19,749 volumes, including books and visual aids, and subscribes to more than 200 periodicals specific to the academic programs offered.
