Brown Mackie College - Kansas City Chairperson Named Teacher of The Year

(LENEXA, Kan. - November 28, 2006) Robert Morse, JD, chair of the Legal Studies department at Brown Mackie College - Kansas City, was named Instructor of the Year (Professional Studies) at the annual workshops and luncheon sponsored by the Kansas Association of Private Career Colleges and Schools. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Missouri Association of Private Colleges and Schools.
Morse is an active participant in the college's Assessment Committee and Self-study Committee, and has been the primary link for paralegal and criminal justice students to the employment opportunities in the greater metropolitan area. He is an early adopter of technology for classroom management and participates regularly with the professional societies of the field.
"The college's degree program in Paralegal is widely recognized as producing the best paralegals in the area," says Richard Thome, president of Brown Mackie College - Kansas City. "Bob Mores's active involvement with local legal associations and his many professional relationships within the community have helped the program's reputation, along with his expectation for students to both learn and grow professionally. Bob is a true asset to our college and our community."
Morse has worked at Brown Mackie College - Kansas City for eight years. He earned his bachelor's and juris doctor degrees from the University of South Carolina, and his Master of Laws degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
