Brown Mackie College Cincinnati Inaugural Dog Parade

(Cincinnati, OH – April 23, 2009) Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati will celebrate the one year anniversary of its Veterinarian Technology program by hosting its inaugural Dog Parade on the school’s campus, Saturday, April 25, 2009  The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will coincide with the school’s annual Education Day event that begins at 10:00 a.m. 

Over 50 dogs and handlers, the City of Woodlawn’s fire and rescue vehicles, Humane Society Dog Adoption Unit, Sparkle the Clown, and others will parade around the campus grounds to the grand stands viewing area.

Sounds of celebration will fill the air as MOJO 100.3 FM disc jockey Faith Daniels spins tunes for singing and dancing. Sparkle the Clown will entertain all attendees. Fun activities will include face painting, a moon walk bouncing bubble, and a large coloring book room for the children. A $500 gift card grand prize give-away with ten smaller sized gas card raffles will be awarded to all who register.

At 12:45 p.m., the parade line-up begins for all entries wanting to be in the Dog Parade. Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati’s Audio/Video Production students will assist in producing this community activity that will be aired on Intercommunity Cable Regulatory Commission cable access in early summer. At the end of the parade route, Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati’s Vet Tech Club will announce winners of parade pageantry by awarding five prizes for dog participation.
