The program also incorporates an externship that offers you real-world experience within healthcare facilities that may include hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care facilities, physician practices, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies.As a graduate of the Health Care Management degree program at Brown Mackie College – Tucson, you may be able to apply learning to the functional role of the manager in a healthcare setting; analyze trends in health care and internal systems to assure they are adequately matched and working together; and evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare administrative systems and procedures for strategic revision and modification.This Health Care Management degree program offers you courses on:• Managing healthcare information and recordkeeping practices in a healthcare setting.• The structure and function of the health organizations, professions, and delivery systems across the continuum of care, including community and teaching hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, public health clinics, and private medical practice.• The leadership fundamentals in healthcare organizations.
