(TUCSON, Ariz. - December 21, 2007) Brown Mackie College - Tucson has begun offering a new associate's degree program in Health Care Administration. The program, which was introduced in response to the increasing demands of the health care industry, will prepare students to understand and carry out the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the health care industry.
"We are delighted to offer this exceptional program as part of our curriculum," says Brown Mackie President Holly Helscher. "We feel the Health Care Administration program is a great asset to our existing course offerings, and will be another reason for prospective students to choose Brown Mackie College - Tucson. In fact, we've already had students enroll in the Health Care Administration program."
While studying Health Care Administration, students will learn how various health care systems operate, as well as multiple aspects of the field. At the same time, students will receive hands-on training in the administrative facets of health care services for the general public. Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, health care insurance offices, home health care agencies, public health settings and other health care-related organizations.
Brown Mackie College - Tucson also offers Bachelor of Science degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, and Legal Studies; Associate of Science degree programs in Accounting Technology, Business Management, Computer Networking & Security, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Health Care Administration, Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Paralegal, and Surgical Technology; and a Post Bachelor Certificate in Accounting.
