Brown Mackie College Tucson Launches New Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Health Care Management

(Tucson, AZ - June 5, 2008) Brown Mackie College - Tucson is now offering a new Bachelor of Science degree program in Health Care Management. The program requires 180 quarter credit hours and 2,254 contact hours.

The program provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, practice and professionalism necessary to obtain an entry-level position in health care management. Courses provide a solid foundation for varied health care careers. Students will have the opportunity learn to analyze trends in health care and internal systems. Students will also learn to evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare administrative systems and procedures for strategic revision and modification.

"Graduates of the program will be prepared to seek entry-level positions in health care facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care facilities, physician practices, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies," stated Holly Helscher, President, Brown Mackie College - Tucson.
