Brown Mackie College – South Bend is now offering a new Bachelor of Science degree program in Healthcare Management. The program requires 180 quarter credit hours and 2,254 contact hours.
The program provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, practice and professionalism necessary to obtain an entry-level position in health care management. Courses provide a solid foundation for varied healthcare careers. Students will have the opportunity learn to analyze trends in healthcare and internal systems. Students will also learn to evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare administrative systems and procedures for strategic revision and modification.
“Graduates of the program will be prepared to pursue entry-level positions in healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care facilities, physician practices, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies,” stated Louise Stienkeoway, President, Brown Mackie College – South Bend.
