Brown Mackie College — Kansas City Offers Health Care Administration Degree Program

(Salina, KS – May 8, 2009)   Brown Mackie College — Salina is now offering an Associate of Applied Science degree program in Health Care Administration. The program, which was introduced in response to the increasing demands of the health care industry, will prepare students to understand and carry out the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the health care industry.

While studying health care administration, students will learn how various health care systems operate, as well as multiple aspects of the field. At the same time, students will receive hands-on training in the administrative facets of health care services for the general public. Graduates of this program will be prepared to pursue entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, health care insurance offices, home health care agencies, public health settings and other health care-related organizations.
