(KANSAS CITY, KS - October 19, 2009) Brown Mackie College - Kansas City is now offering an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Design & Drafting Technology degree program that is designed to prepare students for a career in architectural design & drafting technology.
The program is also designed to equip students with skills to seek entry- level positions in computer- aided design and drafting operations as they support the engineering aspects of residential and commercial building design. "The program provides knowledge and skills to prepare students for entry-level employment as civil and mechanical Drafters or computer-aided design & drafting technicians and designers," says Susan Naples, President, Brown Mackie College - Kansas City.
The curriculum includes classes in 3-Dimensional Graphics, Computerized Design for Mechanical Engineering, and 3- Dimensional Visualization. In addition, students will take general education courses that will assist in their professional development and ability to articulate and communicate effectively.
