Brown Mackie College - Michigan City Launches Health Care Administration Degree Program

Brown Mackie College - Michigan City has begun offering a new Associate of Applied Science degree program in Health Care Administration. The program, which was introduced in response to the increasing demands of the health care industry, will prepare students to understand and carry out the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the health care industry.
"We are delighted to offer this exceptional program as part of our curriculum," says Eric Rudie, president of Brown Mackie College - Michigan City. "The Health Care Administration program is a great asset to our existing course offerings, and will be another reason for prospective students to choose Brown Mackie College - Michigan City."
While studying Health Care Administration, students will learn how various health care systems operate, as well as multiple aspects of the field. At the same time, students will receive hands-on training in the administrative facets of health care services for the general public. Graduates of this program will be prepared to pursue entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, health care insurance offices, home health care agencies, public health settings and other health care-related organizations. The program requires 96 quarter credit hours and 1,244 contact hours.
