Classes Slated to Begin September 2008
(BOISE, Idaho - June 9, 2008) Education Management LLC (EDMC) today announced the addition of Brown Mackie College - Boise to its Brown Mackie College system of schools. Brown Mackie College - Boise will be Education Management's first school location in the state of Idaho.
With its first day of class slated for September 2, 2008, Brown Mackie College - Boise will occupy approximately 26,600 square feet at 9050 West Overland Road near downtown Boise. The school will begin enrolling students immediately.
"Brown Mackie College - Boise will offer curricula that complements the demand for a skilled workforce in the Boise metropolitan area," says Danny Finuf, president of the Brown Mackie College system of schools. "The school's curriculum and educational programs are designed to enable students to achieve their professional and personal aspirations while making a meaningful and long-lasting contribution to the community."
Brown Mackie College - Boise will initially offer Bachelor of Science degree programs in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Healthcare Management; and Associate of Science degree programs in Accounting Technology, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Office Management, Paralegal, and Surgical Technology. The school will also offer diploma programs in Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, Medical Assistant, and Paralegal Assistant.
The school's educational model is designed with the needs of students in mind - flexible academic program delivery options offered at convenient times, personalized instruction and small classes which enable students to fulfill work or family obligations as they pursue a higher education degree.
