Brown Mackie College - Atlanta Offers New Associate's Degree Programs

(ATLANTA - March 6, 2007) Brown Mackie College - Atlanta is currently enrolling students in two new programs: an Associate of Applied Science degree in Pharmacy Technology and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Care Administration.

"We are very excited to offer these new degree options", says Robert Campbell, President of Brown Mackie College - Atlanta. "The Pharmacy Technology and Health Care Administration programs will provide students with a comprehensive education, necessary to enter their chosen profession".

Students in the Pharmacy Technology associate's degree program learn how to work with and under the direction of pharmacists in an office or other medical setting. The program curriculum delves into studies in pharmacy procedures, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and medical administrative practices.

Students enrolled in the Health Care Administration program will learn how various components of the healthcare industry operate, including both organizational and managerial support in the field. Graduates will be prepared to seek entry level employment in hospitals, clinics, healthcare insurance agencies, and public health settings.

The new associate's degree programs in Pharmacy Technology and Health Care Administration are all two-year programs and require 96 quarter credit hours.
