Brown Mackie College — Atlanta was founded as the Asher School of Business. In 2003, the parent corporation of Asher School of Business was acquired by Pittsburgh-based Education Management Corporation (EDMC), and in 2004, the Asher School of Business changed its name to Brown Mackie College — Atlanta.
