Brown Mackie College has appointed Tod Gibbs as president, Brown Mackie College – Akron. In his new role, Tod will provide leadership and support to the school’s staff and faculty and continue to prepare students for the workforce.
Tod has over has over 21 years executive management experience in public and proprietary education. Most recently, he served as owner/president, All American Transport Company in Miami, Florida. He also served as CEO, Atlanta School of Massage and Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics; COO of Steiner Education Group, consisting of 14 campuses; campus president, American InterContinental University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and campus president, Tampa Technical Institute in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Gibbs earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Western Michigan University and is presently attending Central Michigan University, working on his Masters of Arts in Education degree.
When asked about his new role, Tod stated, “I am extremely excited about working for Brown Mackie College because of their long history of educational excellence and continued commitment to providing practical education to its students. “Brown Mackie College – Akron is filled with devoted students and dedicated faculty and staff. I am honored to be a part of the present and future plans and developments at the Akron campus.”
